About us
AOTTA unites anaesthesiologists passionate about advancing TIVA and TCI practices in India. Founded by 12 pioneers, the association drives excellence through innovation, collaboration, and education.
We aim to educate, train, and promote the safe and effective use of advanced anaesthesia techniques, including Closed Loop Anaesthesia Delivery Systems (CLADS) and Automated Anaesthesia Systems.
Our mission is to raise the standards of care and bring global best practices in TIVA and TCI to anaesthesiologists across the country

History
AOTTA was conceived during the COVID-19 era, when concerns over aerosol transmission highlighted the need for safer anaesthesia techniques. In 2021, a group of anaesthesiologists trained in TIVA and TCI united to promote these advanced methods, formally establishing the association in 2022. From its 12 founding members, AOTTA has grown to a nationwide community of over 100 professionals dedicated to advancing safe, modern anaesthesia practices.
